Interior Designers create environments within various types of spaces; offices, health care, institutional, hospitality, retail and residential space. . Interior Designers are problem solvers. They identify opportunities presented by specific spaces and intended functions. Interior Designers develop solutions that enhance the quality, usefulness and indeed the beauty of living spaces.

The programme focuses on the intellectual and personal exploration of each student and instills the skills necessary to become an imaginative and creative designer. The department stresses abstract and practical design solutions incorporating cultural, social and environmental issues with the use of technology and hands-on experiences. The approach to design would be the determination and classification of all designing stages, from the creative ideas to the final product, while highlighting the intellectual process that encompasses researchers, ideas and the routes of human sight
