SMOKING CAUSES PROBLEMS OTHER THAN LUNG CANCER AND HEART DISEASE

Doesn't Tell You is the first comprehensive look at the medical evidence of all types of harm triggered by smoking. Referencing over 450 articles from medical journals and reviewed by 45 experts — mainly medical doctors and PhDs — if this book doesn't convince you to quit, nothing will.
Among some of the things that cancer sticks do:
..Besides cancers of the head, neck, and lungs, ciggies are especially connected to cancers of the bladder, kidney, pancreas, and cervix. Newer evidence is adding leukemia and colorectal cancer to the list. Recent studies have also found at least a doubling of risk among smokers for cancers of the vulva and penis, as well as an eight-fold risk of anal cancer for men and a nine-fold risk for women.
..Smoking trashes the ability of blood to flow, which results in a sixteen-fold greater risk of
peripheral vascular disease. This triggers pain in the legs and arms, which often leads to an inability to walk and, in some instances, gangrene and/or amputation. Seventy-six percent of all cases are caused by smoking, more than for any other factor, including diabetes, obesity, and high blood pressure.
..Smokers are at least two to three times more likely to develop the heartbreak of psoriasis. Even if that doesn't happen, they'll look old before their time. And because it jacks up dopamine levels, it helps ward off Parkinson's disease. Of course, these benefits seem to be side effects of the hazards of smoking, so the trade-off hardly seems worth it

Fire
When there’s a fire inside your building, you need to get out immediately! Since smoke from a fire can make it difficult to see, it’s important to know the best way to exit the building. How do you know this? You should have a plan before a fire even happens. Here’s how to be prepared before a fire:
* Have a plan and practice it. This plan should include fire drills. A fire drill can help you practice leaving your building quickly and safely. Don’t forget to talk about different ways you can get out. Learn more about having a disaster plan.
During a fire, you should do the following:
* Use a fire extinguisher to put out small fires. You can also use water if the fire is not electrical or chemical. Do NOT try to put out a fire that you can’t control.
* If there’s a fire that is too big to put out, leave the building immediately. You might not have much time before the fire spreads, so don’t even stop to call 911. Once you’re outside and safe, you can use a cell phone or a neighbor’s phone to call.
* If your clothes catch fire, do NOT run. This could make the fire spread more quickly. Instead, stop, drop, and roll! In other words, stop, drop to the ground, cover your face with your hands, and roll back and forth until the fire is put out.
* If there is smoke in your house, cover your nose and mouth with a small cloth and stay low to the ground as you’re leaving. Smoke is very dangerous to breathe and difficult to see through. Since smoke naturally rises, you should crawl on your hands and knees to exit the building.
If you’re in a room with the door closed when a fire breaks out, here are more tips:
* Do NOT open the door if the door is hot, there is smoke coming through the cracks around or under the door, or the doorknob is hot. This means that the fire is close.
* If you are trapped in the room, use duct tape, wet towels, or clothing to seal off any cracks or vents around the door. Call 911 and let them know where you are. You could even put a light-colored cloth (like a white t-shirt) outside the window to let firefighters know where you are.
* If the doorknob feels cool and smoke is not coming in the room, open the door slowly and carefully. Then quickly exit the building.
* If a fire starts in your kitchen because of oil or grease, try tossing baking soda or salt on it. Or put a lid over the flame if the fire is in a pot or pan.

So, if breakups don't have to occur, what cases them and how can you prevent them?
Here are four ideas to help you better understand why breakups happen and what you can do to prevent them in your relationship.
1. Old Fears Surface.
It's to be expected that being in an intimate relationship will inevitable bring up fears and challenges from the past. These might include fearing not being good enough, attractive enough, wealthy enough or even feelings of abandonment. If fears are not expected, looked at and healed, they interfere in some way or another with the health of every relationship. Take some time to notice when the fears surface, be loving with
yourself but look inward instead of outward blaming your partner for what clearly is your issue.
Ask yourself if your fears are "true" or are you just making "stories" up in your head. If you are creating those "stories" and there's no basis of truth to them, then change your thinking. It's not always easy to do and it takes moment by moment monitoring of your
thoughts. If you need help and support to make the changes you want in your life, be courageous enough to get it.
You may not have healed your broken heart from past relationships that ended and you find it very difficult to trust your current partner or open your heart completely to him or her. If you are not feeling loved, start being open to seeing and feeling love and appreciation that people are giving you that you may not be aware of in your daily life. It may be that someone allows you to go ahead of them in traffic or tells you to go ahead in a grocery line. Send some appreciation back to them and to everyone around you and watch love snowball in your life.
3. Not Making their Relationship a Priority.
Many couples take each other for granted and don't give their relationship the attention it needs most of the time. Graphic Design is a reflective, problem-solving discipline; a creative process that combines art and technology to visually convey a message to an audience. The aim of the Graphic Design program is to develop the students’ ability to communicate visually and learn to develop innovative thinking a d creative problem solving. Plus develop the skills that are essential to their professional growth. Emphasis is placed upon visual design as applied to a diverse range of two and three dimensional, as well as time-based communication problems.
Subject work includes art direction, graphics design, typographic design, three- dimensional design (for exhibits and packaging), multimedia design (for interactive Presentations, internet communication and websites), study in drawing, effective concept execution through typography exposure, digital production and mastery of color, line scale and layout. At the end of the program, each students final collection will be show- cased in an exhibition open to the general public, advertising industry and professionals.
