Graphic Design is a reflective, problem-solving discipline; a creative process that combines art and technology to visually convey a message to an audience. The aim of the Graphic Design program is to develop the students’ ability to communicate visually and learn to develop innovative thinking a d creative problem solving. Plus develop the skills that are essential to their professional growth. Emphasis is placed upon visual design as applied to a diverse range of two and three dimensional, as well as time-based communication problems.
Subject work includes art direction, graphics design, typographic design, three- dimensional design (for exhibits and packaging), multimedia design (for interactive Presentations, internet communication and websites), study in drawing, effective concept execution through typography exposure, digital production and mastery of color, line scale and layout. At the end of the program, each students final collection will be show- cased in an exhibition open to the general public, advertising industry and professionals.
